Enabling frictionless customer relationship management for Koda’s consultants

Koda is a collecting society serving music composers and songwriters of Denmark by collecting license fees and distributing the earnings to the music creators when their music is used in the public domain. Koda has arrangements with various music providers such as TV and radio stations, streaming services, cafés and restaurants, stores, festivals, and gyms.

All of these customer relationships are managed by Koda’s consultants by daily customer visits to ensure that the correct license fees are collected and accounted for.

Challenge

Koda’s consultants had trouble accessing their customer data in a frictionless format and filing their status reports for each customer on the go. The process resulted in inefficient use of time, reduced data quality, and at the very least, a great deal of frustration for consultants in their daily work with customer relationship management.

Approach

Addition developed the PWA (Progressive web app) and the API management setup to support communication with Koda’s CRM and ERP functionality - the latter of which Koda was responsible for configuring. To ensure a smooth process, Addition was working on-site with Koda’s team 3 days a week as part of a timeboxed project model.
